So here is where I will keep a running list of the words Jupiter knows. I don't know why I think this is important since eventually I will not be able to keep up, but I feel the need to chronicle. It's amazing how quickly he picks things up, sometimes without my even knowing I've taught him. Today, for example, when I say "brush your teeth," he rubs his finger on his teeth. I have never talked to him about brushing, and have only been using the finger brush on his teeth at bedtime for a couple of days. Somehow, he knows what it means to brush teeth.
This means we will have to start watching our language. Shit.
Anyway, here's a rough list of what Jupiter knows as of today. I will add periodically, with a new date, to end end of the list. I can't list all the concepts (like brushing teeth) because the number of things he knows (either to make the sound, like an animal, or to point to, or to go get or make a gesture) numbers in the hundreds already. Or so it seems.
So here are his words, not in the order he learned them:
